In Memoriam
Kim was a big part of what we have looked to accomplish here in developing athletes. He truly cared about what we are doing with the the people that come here. Not just about the player's talent, but about the person and all that is involved in their lives. His on court skill as a coach was phenomenal. It matched his knowledge of the game of basketball and the way he translated that to all the players he taught. Not only here but throughout his career in the NBA. More importantly, he was a very close friend and someone I loved. We hit it off from the first time we met so many years ago. I guess because we both seem to be straight forward and honest with people So I loved that about him. He was always there to listen no matter what the topic was that we shared, and we shared many. Lol. His thoughtfulness and sincerity was a breath of fresh air as opposed to all the bullshit that is out there with people. He will be sorely missed. As a coach, yes, but especially as someone you could always count on as simply a great friend and human being.
